I've always liked this movie and wondered what about it is so appealing. It's advertised as a kids' movie but there are some adult elements in there that I noticed from watching it again recently. I think it might be more of a sexual mood througout the movie whenever Sarah and Jareth appear on screen together.

and of course, there has to be mention of bowie's bulge... for a kids movie, those pants were awfully tight......
