This episode, unlike we were lead to believe, did not bring us even a millimeter of a step closer to solving the whereabouts of one Agent Mulder nor does next week's ep. have a thing to do with Scully's pregnancy or Mulder or anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't blame the X-files team for the Mulder tease -- that's all Fox.

Teasing aside, I found "The Gift" to be one of the few season 8 episodes that came full circle. It was a well drawn hour with a good twist.

Note to X-files writers: It's good to reference the past.
