Is Hero's a one season show?

If they save the world yet this season, where does the show go from there? Most of the show is about them learning to use there powers. What will sustain the show once they master their powers?

I see big issue for Hero's making it past more than one or two seasons.

Ahh perhaps it's for the best... quit while it's good, instead of dragging it out and getting crappy (Lost's feared path).

Actually, I believe I heard that the producers are referring to individual episodes as chapters and seasons as Volumes as an homage to the comic book world. They also said that future seasons would not necessarily have anything to do with this current season or any subsequent seasons in between.
