Sorry I reposted the same link, even though the other thread title was a little vague.

I opened that thread and thought that the link was missing and had no idea, at the time, what it was in reference to.

The links are the same color as the text and it is messing me up. Is there a way to change this via preferances?

The links will be the same color as the text if you've visited the link before. If you haven't visited the link already, the link shows up as blue text. Since any poster has presumably visited any link they post in order to copy and paste it into the post, the link will always look like regular text when you see it if you look at your own post, or any post that has a link to the same webpage. If you run your mouse over it, you will see your curson change to indicate that there is indeed a link there.

I like the fact that real faces and personalities are starting to emerge. I think, between Page's funky side, Hurling capable of kicking my ass, and U's rather devil-may-care-donkey-hotey attitude, we're a well rounded and attractive bunch.

I see rumors of a topless pic of SKM...what'd I miss?!?!? Carl, you should play around with your pics and try to superimpose the afro version of yourself onto the bike. That'd be classic.

I, too, like the new faces and personalities emerging. This won't be any great revelation to anyone who reads these boards regularly, but I'm guilty of forgetting there are real people attached to the other side of these posts sometimes, and for that I apologize. It's also easy to forget that unless one is a very skilled writer, which I most certainly am not, it can be difficult to communicate all the non-verbals we take for granted in our face to face interactions. Believe it or not, I'm actually a pretty easy going guy most of the time. I've tried to be a better film fodder citizen lately by switching to a kinder, gentler brand of sarcarsm, but if another Modok emerges, all bets are off, and I can't promise anything.

If we are not to be graced with a less, say, covered, photo, I personally found the original pic of SKM reclining on the ?bean bag? chair at the dock party most special. Did you catch that one?

I agree that this forum is MUCH more enjoyable when real people and real faces emerge next to the words. I won't scare you with the afro on the bike but I do have a recent mohawk photo from only a few months ago when I was bored with my hair that might shut down the site!

And Ugotta, my thought is to track down MODOK wherever he has landed and flame him there, but then I kind of enjoyed that round of posts (kind of like eating the yellow jalapenos, spicy!).

And as a side note, I have a bit of a hippy-vibe myself. I actually signed up, and was accepted into the Peace Corps last year. I didn't end up going - I got my fabulous job - but I still do my cancer research relays and volunteer at homeless shelters to make up for the good I could have done elsewhere.

Also - if this doesn't give myself away, nothing will - my midwest college town is where the Peace Corps began, on the steps of the Student Union.

There's my witch & Marge Simpson Halloween costumes and my 18th anniversary photo w/my hubby. the rest are karate pics, cos that's what i'm obsessed with now (besides Lost). my graduation is this fri and i'm having a huge party on sat, and it will take me days to recover cos i really can't hold my liquor anymore. i will post some party pix after my hangover goes away.

SKM, I owned a bikini in high school, but that was before they invented sunblock that worked, so I only wore it once. (ouch!)

sorry i'm absent from this conversation, work has been insane lately. Never work at a university: it's 6 months of boredom and 6 months of 14 hour days. Absent minded professors don't make the best customers.
