Just wondering what the popular opinions are. So, hot or not? (Hopefully Mac won't be too offended.) My take:
Sun: Smokin' Kate: Hotty for sure Danielle: Maybe years ago. Too old. Clair: Hot when she keeps her trap shut. Rose: Unh, unh. No way. Alex: Very doable from what we have seen so far. Libby: Get a paper bag for her head and... maybe? AnaL: Needs a gag. Then, yeah w/handcuffs. I am not a good judge for the men. Ladies, please feel free to express your opinions in that regard. Oh, and I left out the dead as I am not into the necrophelia. I tried to keep this in regards to the characters instead of the actors for Mac's sake, though I don't really know if she (I think "she", am I right?) would care on the forum here. |

My only comment on the men.... Jin is HOT! Especially after last night's episode. I'd want Hurley as my best bud - he would be easy to talk to and actually have him listen.

Kate: Hottest on the show by far. I'm even willing to look past that whole murder thing.. Danielle: That lady just... scares me (not in a good way). Claire: MILF. Unlike Lordfoul, I REALLY dig her accent. Rose:...Great personality.... Alex: Not legal yet... but seems good looking. Libby: Looked good a few years ago on Drew Carey but those extra few years have not been good to her. Ana Lucia: I'm kind of on the fence with her. I'll say she's a 7. Shannon: (had to add her even though she's dead) As annoying as she was, I would put her as 2nd place behind Kate for her hotness. |

Jack: He doesn't do anything for my blood pressure. Locke: I don't have a problem w/bald (see Patrick Stewart), but I do have a problem w/anger management issues. Sawyer: Not into either long hair or bad boys. Sayid: A definite rise in blood pressure! Charlie: Cute; could fall into the friend-who-turns-into-significant other. Hurley: Love his personality, but he looks a lot like a guy I worked for who wasn't the most pleasant person (actually, he was one of the world's biggest asses). Michael: Good-looking but too intense & wound-up. Jin: See Michael. Eko: Not classically good-looking but very magnetic... Bernard: Nope. 'Nuff said. Walt: I'm not into compromising minors. Boone: Aside from the dead issue, his eyebrows were too weird. Ethan: Guys that give off unstable dynamite vibes make me nervous. Henry: He reminds me of a rabbit. Or a ferret. Or a rat. Bald isn't the problem with Locke - he's got some psych issues and his face isn't cute. You're right, Alais - doesn't Henry remind you of the original ferret-face, Frank Burns? If we had to go by personality, I don't think I could touch any of them. Walt can call me in about 15 yrs. |

It's not like the woman would give me the time of day in real life. However, a good question. Based on my past jaded life, it could go either way. What would the sneer mean? That's the fun. Finding out. And to be honest, if it was after your hot monkey love, who really cares? It may not be predictable but it can certainly be exciting. It's never plain. The most hideous torture I can imagine would be a night with Paris Hilton. Plain or primped or stupid are NOT good. |

Ummmm, I don't think any of us guys were really thinking about how hot she is with her clothes actually on... Kate, Sun, Libby and AL are all pretty hot...in that order. Shannon annoyed the hell out of me, and I live 20 minutes from The Valley so I'm used to those types. Claire annoys me, too. They're both hot, but I have to agree; only with their mouthes shut. Clair is really annoying... espicially in 'Maternity Leave", but she's hot. Kate, Sun, Libby all hot.
The women/men cast are all pretty much beautiful people have you noticed... even the older one are good looking for there age. Even Hurley is good looking big guy. If I was 300 pounder chick, I would even DO Hurley....after he shared some of the ranch dressing first. |

Jack's Girl, I seem to remember having this discussion with you some time ago regarding Anna Lucia (still my favorite along with Danielle). It is nice to see that now you have weighed in on your side of the question. I think it is a statistical certainty that your choices whould be dead center of the bell curve, at least based on reading these threads. Unfortunately, while I can see the guys, I can only jump 50/50 on the women. It's time to accept that I must be the oddball.

I would like to add a couple:
Shannon: If she were still alive I would consider her very hot. That scene where she is sunbathing in season 1 was awesome. Her bitching with Boone that followed was not. Nadia: I didn't find her hot in the last episode but I thought she looked pretty good in the picture Sayid had of her. AnaL is much less hot since her recent wussification over the last couple of episodes. I think she needs to kill someone else to spark that interest again. |

Poppa Adat---tru dat. I don't watch TV much, but of the shows I watch regularly (Simpsons, Lost, Surface, 2 1/2 Men) and the shows I catch once in a while (Vegas, CSI, Smallville) Evangeline Lilly is by far the freshest, most natural (no silicone, I'm fairly sure) and sexiest of the current actresses. No contest.

Totally agreed, Bell. Part of growing old gracefully is accepting the long-term error of attraction to HOT youngers such as Michelle Rodriguez (Anna Lucia). Now, on the other hand, that does not stop me from drooling over Mira Furlan, given that she is my age and, all things considered, much hotter than Anna Lucia AND Kate. Go, girl! The girls: Pretty little things, all of them. Danielle, although not so "pretty", strikes me as the sort of women who looks at the "boys" on the island and thinks, "Even if they could catch me they couldn't ride me." The fellas: Sawyer has the sort of looks that make my pulse race. The rest of the guys...ok. But Eko is the only man on the island that I'd boink and it has nothing to do with what he looks like. |

Intrepid, actually, no. I maintain no (or at least few) illusions of actually connecting with celebrities. In fact, I can see and enjoy the beauty for beauty's sake and no more. A fairly plain woman with blinding intelligence is generally more beautiful to me than a blinding appearance with no brain. Sadly, I fear most would not agree so we see the same parade of beauty queens on every show. Just look to Survivor, CSI, etc. Not a single woman on the show would be the least bit attractive to meet in person and find they have the depth of Paris Hilton instead of Maryl Streep or Marilyn Vos Savant. All rules are excepted for natural redheads, of course, who get a free pass. As you say, all of the girls are pretty things. The guys have a bit more variety but, except for teddy bear Hurley, are all just different suits from the same deck of cards. However, if you looked at Danielle's publicity pictures, or other work she has done, you might think differently. And, as a final note regarding "Even if they could catch me they couldn't ride me.", the chase is generally more fun than the catch! |

Yes, it was always disappointing to find that the ones who looked most "boinkable" were, in fact, the least competent, and not worth catching. My college roomie & I discovered we needed to look for the nicest smile. So I married the nicest smile I could find and have never been disappointed in 21 yrs. And I can always turn out the lights and pretend I'm with Sawyer.......And one day Josh Holloway probably won't look so boinkable anymore (the only exception I can think of is Dick Van Dyke), but I'll have the same fantasy in my head. |
