1) Regina - Yet another generic blonde who looks like the woman in the painting. Why has the casting director no imagination?

2) The captain answers questions - some pretty good ones, too - but are they the real answers?

3) At the very least, Minkowski & Regina had time travel sickness. So it is possible the same thing happened to Rousseau's crew - and she had no way to describe it.

What was the pounding on the freighter? more craziness? Was the blood on the ships wall the right height to suggest 'blow your brains out' blood? If i was a crewmate on this ship, I'd take my chances in a row boat...

i thought the pounding was morse code, but sayid would have known that, right?

If it was Morse code the captain and probably every other sailor and Pilot Frank would have been able to decipher it and at the very least recognize it as Morse code.

I think it was random banging on the pipes and I wonder if it is Walt doing the banging.

I agree that the captain and at least some of the crew would recognize Morse code, but it might be some other type of code. If it's not mechanical and it's not code, then I guess there's sabotage or loonieness afoot.
