I am somewhat confused as to the current time line. I wondered if we could put our collective heads together to determine the time and duration of the following events. I'll update my thoughts here and fill in blanks or modify based on your feed back. I'll also include rationale for stated time.

• O6 arrives in Hawaii: Jan/Feb 2005. Assuming crash happenned 9/2004, 100 days on the island, 4-6 weeks on Penny's boat.
  
• Sayid marries Nadia after arrival Feb/Mar 2005
  
• Nadia murdered (Married for 9 months) 12/2005,
  
• Ben arrives in Tunasia (12/2005-1/2006) - shortly after Nadia's murder (btw how did Ben get established so quickly?)
  
• Sayid works for Ben for 2 years (1/2006-1/2008) - shortly after starts working in relief effort. When did the episode "The Economist" occur?
  
• Locke arrives in Tunasia (3/2008) - At some point Widmore puts cameras...did he anticipate Locke's arrival?
  
• Locke does his 06 tour (4/2008) - He is still in his cast/wheel chair so it cant be long after he arrives
  
• Locke speaks to Jack (4/2008)
  
• Jack starts booking O6 flights (does this for months according to Season 3 finale) (4/2008-6/2008)
  
• Locke commits suicide/gets murdered - Here I am confused. Ben says Jack just booked a flight to Sydney that would put this event at (4/2008) but Jack doesn't read the obituary until he has flown Oceanic for weeks accross the Pacific, that means it is (6/2008) Either it has been two months since Locke talked to Jack or just after, which is it?
  
• Jack reads Jeremy Bentham obituary (6/2008) The point above puts this date in question...
  
• Jack meets up with Ben again (4 or 6/2008)
  
• From Jacks meeting with Ben to Aijira 316, only a few days pass correct?
  

This also leads to a couple of questions. How much time from when Ben learned Eloise Hawking's name and he made contact with her? It makes more sense if it happened 4/2008 so he could formulate a plan. Perhaps Ben speaks with her, learns Locke has to go back, then re-stages the suicide and puts the obituary in the paper 6/2008.

Or Locke dies, the obituary goes out and Jack reads it only after 1 flight. That seems less plausible since Jack looked like he had fallen pretty hard in the S3 finale. He still looked like he had it somewhat together still after speaking with Locke.
