If any of you are unfamiliar with this, it was a publicity stunt done by a marketing company prior to the release of Halo 2.

It's mostly in Audio Novel form now, and is quite good. Go to the Mission Log link if you care to have a listen. It's well-acted, contains multiple characters, and is worth the six CDs I burned it on to.

Anyway... Hmm.

It's called Viral Marketing, but has recently developed into Alternate Reality Gaming (definition at ARGN).

It's interesting that the producers of Lost would start something like this so late in the story's progression.
