Thanks for the review Mac.
PS: "exsanguinate" ... you are awesome!

even if Claire's mom knows that Aaron is her grandson, there is no reason for Jack to kill her or tranquilize her. She knows a bulldog attorney will block Kate leaving the country with Aaron and Jack knows they are leaving in just a matter of hours. So if Claire's mom said, "I will fight you and I will win my granchild" Jack would say, "I'll see you in court for the fight of your life." Then Jack would tell Kate and off they go to the island.

I like the idea of Jin being foomed during the aftermath of the Snatching of Walt (SOW). And I like the idea of the tug boat Others being ones shooting at the outrigger.

Will Ben return to the island or just send the 06 on their way? Last season he said he wouldn't be able to return after he turned the FDW, didn't he?

Rousseau told us her crew members were "crazy" and that is why she killed them. She didn't mention them all bleeding. I think she would have mentioned it as a caution to the Lostee's...Beware of bloody nozez, zhat is ze beginning of ze madness. I am still mourning our loss of mature Rousseau. She didn't boink anyone on the island and she didn't get busted for DUI,,,it was a senseless death.

I have always thought Aaron is The Little Prince. He and Vincent...there's more to them than meets the eye.

that's all I got for now.

Dauntless, thanks for your support regarding Danielle. We have had Ana Lucia back, if only for a brief moment. Maybe we can have Danielle back - the real one. That will keep me watching. After all, I had to stop myself from fixating on Charlotte since I knew she would die.

This episode was a good one but didn't really do much to advance the plot or answer questions. It seemed to be just a good story.

We know that the Losties will return to the island in some form or another, otherwise, how do they keep the show going?

But how much, if any, damage does Ben receive from a very mad Asian woman mourning the loss of her hubby, before Ben can once again pull a rabbit out and giver her proof of his survival?

It is especially cool that Jin has to figure the time shift out all by himself. Is the time shift the same in French?

With all of the jumps back and forth in time, how many really revealing scenes have there been? Certainly the Other camp and the bomb was one. Maybe the flaming arrows at the beach, although that didn't go anywhere. What others? It seems that all of the other time shifts have just revealed what we already knew or could safely assume.

If Ben was admittedly jobbing Kate over Aaron, who is trying to drug Sayid? Is it Ben? The motivations regarding Kate and Aaron are obvious. Chasing Sayid is not so obvious.

How did Widmore go from being a flunky under Alpert to "owning" the island? Notice that his uniform did not have "Widmore" as a name tag.

And why is Sawyer progressing toward an anger breakdown? Is he being set-up for some sort of battle with someone? John seems to be getting more peaceful while Sawyer is, well, rough.

And when will Claire reappear? And in what state/condition?

I have lots of questions but no means of even approaching a discussion of them. Much of the show seems pretty clear now, if not justified, atleast obvious. Smoky and the dead people appearing are about the only real unanswered issues at this point, aside from some expectation of scientific reality. And the dead people might just be locallized time travel from when they were alive.

It appears as though Ben & Sayid have had a falling out, but Ben still needs Sayid to return to the island. So Ben might have sent the dartman after Sayid (as he sent the lawyer after Kate) specifically to bring to Sayid's attention that a house divided cannot stand.

About Ben's ability to get Sun not to shoot him dead...he did say, "Jin is not dead and I can prove it." Well now, that piques my interest. How is he going to prove it?

This is just a minor note, but it's been bugging me ... Does anyone else feel it's inconsistent with the show's logic of time travel that the rowboat they stole stayed with them through the time jump, but the second boat from the same time period disappeared just when they wanted it to?

I thought the missing zodiac was "explained" by the statement/implication that whoever left the camp in disarray must have taken that boat, leaving the outrigger behind. Or possiby the "Jumpies" took the zodiac to get away from whoever appeared at the camp.

Tom, if this bothers you, as it could, there are no end of similar things to be bothered about.

For instance, how did Blondie's WWII M1 carbine stay with the Losties after they time shifted in the Other's camp? Even though it was nowhere to be seen when they were taking care of Charlotte. And since we're at it, the M1 Garand that Sawyer has raises the same question.

The flaming arrows seem to have disappeared from the beach camp. That would make sense except for the rifles staying.

The outrigger is an obvious Hmmmmmmm. So, if they shifted back in time, would Sawyer's paddle which was shot no longer have a hole in it?

And what about Jinn's shift. Would his floatie thing have shifted with him or would he have sunk like a rock? And that's not even asking what he was floating on.

And since we are talking boats, the Zodiac has come and gone seemingly at will. maybe it was taken with a good explanation. If the beach Losties took it, it should at some point reappear, right? But if the outrigger people took it, it should be gone in time, right? Hmmm.

Now, on a good note, when the Losties did the time warp dance while in the Others camp, the trails and tent marks which would have been left on the ground remained. Of course, that is more likely representative of a lack of effort in restoring the ground than anything.

So, in general, there have been liberties taken with what stays and what transports. I have given up keeping track since it seems that no logical explanation will be forthcoming. It is one of the "convenience of the writers" deals.

Of course, the clothing question comes to mind. Now that Danielle is back in the picture, that becomes an issue for me.

When the Invisible Man goes invisible, why do his clothes go, too? When a werewolf shifts, then shifts back, is it some sort of werewolf rule that a torn portion of clothing functioning as a loin cloth always remains? And when a vampire sucks the blood out of a victim's neck, doesn't any ever get on the vampire's shirt? I have so many unanswered questions.

In the early 60s, didn't Bob Dylan sing, "Where have all the polar bears gone"?

I was pretty disappointed with the episode. I don't have any inclination to analyze the time shifts, as it seems the writers are just going for convenience now. So the rule is, sometimes stuff travels with you & sometimes it doesn't. Better hold hands with your friend, but that's no guarantee.

Interesting point though, ???carl. Suppose pregnant Danielle jumps, but the fetus doesn't? Could we have a viable premie hanging around? Way too much for this show, but I would like to have seen Heinlein handle it.

Well I was walking down the street just a-having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink
He shook-a me up, he took me by surprise
He had a pickup truck and the devil's eyes.
He stared at me and I felt a change
Time meant nothing, never would again
Let's do the Time Warp again!

*hurling is tap-dancing around the office now*
*although she must admit, it's mostly a happy-chocolate-pretzels dance*
