THERE'S NO SHOW ON THIS WEEK!!! I knew this before, but I thought I'd comment now.

We were holding a record too, 4 new episodes in a row.

I want to say I "semi" understand this time around since we are gearing up for the big season finale. However, I believe this behavior is dangerous. Most people that I've asked "Hey do you watch Lost" respond "I did but I couldn't keep up with the schedule. About time I figured out it was back on, I had missed an episode and now I'm so far behind I'm not interested".

The LOST producers and ABC have to realize (at some point) that most people don't have time to mark their calendars for the date and time for the next episode. I think we can find it in ourselves to forgive the show this time around as it's only their second time at the plate but if type of behavior continues in Season 3, especially with Idol coming back for season 6, ratings will decline and the series will be in trouble. Key thing for the writers/producers/ABC to take away from this season: Write more episodes to span an entire season.

One other point that I think is another problem is the number of commercial breaks during an episode. It had gotten better until last week but I would be interested to know how many breaks they took last episode. At certain points I'm almost sure that the commercial break was longer than the proceeding episode block. Not the mention a (by my unofficial count) 4 minute break at the end to plug a less popular series "Invasion". Again, this type of behavior is reckless and could endanger the series.

when does next newe episode come out....what is the canadian trailer like for the next episode...hmmmmm

That was SUCH a nice surprise!!! and I thought May was sweeps month. So after some confusion, I figured it out: We are being given two consecutive sweeps months. With breaks, OK, but still.... Quit whining - like it was said, that was the most new episodes all put together in a LONG time. I, for one, enjoyed it immensely and look forward to the next batch of new episodes.

The first or second commerical break had 10 COMMERICIALS! The break after that had 6.

Next new episode is May 3. And it's supposed to be Anna Lucia centric.

I love this show, but sometimes I just hate it because of comercials and 3 week breaks...(I guess it's really not the shows fault, it's more like ABC's fault)

For people who have such an issue with commercials, I would strongly recommend investing in DVR or TiVo. No more commercials, and it will automatically record Lost for you. It stops TV from controlling your life!

I know somebody who is about three episodes behind, and we've recorded them all, and he's still watching them. He will not let me delete them until he's watched them all. So, maybe people are just impatient...(bastards)Lol....jk

yeah i know. My issues aren't with the commercials though, it's that fact that it cuts the entire episode time down by so much.

I am reitterating a few comments already mentioned, but I agree that the long breaks are worrisome. I don't have a problem waiting...and I'm not whining about breaks or commercials. But, I have met MANY people who have given up on the show b/c of the breaks and I think the show being cancelled after season 3 is a real concern. This show is not picking up many viewers despite the hype and DVDs, but its losing viewers all the time. They better figure something out for next season that works better.
