. Just a little break from all the Daddy issues. Wink And Widmore's got child issues. Did Eloise slap him because he raped her & that's why he has no right to call Daniel his son?

No kidding on the mommy issues...& Eloise makes Joan Crawford look like Mom of the Year. Does anyone else but Kate have mom issues? And I was wondering the same thing, hurling...what's up w/the slap? And if Ellie was on the island in 1977 to kill Grown-Up Dan, where was Little Dan? Was he born on the island? Was he raised by an other? (Well, yes, he was raised by an Other at least part of the time!...& I agree w/Mac that "Your mother is an Other?" was the best line last night. LOST by way of Dr. Seuss... Wink)

I think that we are going to see that a great deal of the events of "Lost" are going to be attributed to Ms. Hawking attempting to undo the time loop that has her killing her son.

The three clues that I'm keying on here are Farraday's statements that his mom lied and the 815ers aren't supposed to be there, Hawking's statement about not knowing what is going to happen next, and the fact that Hawking gave Farraday his journal.

I think that the show is going to tell us that Hawking sent the 815ers back in time to change the variables in the equation and inject, in particular, Jack's freewill philosophy into the equation. I think that not all the notes written in Farraday's journal were written by Farrady. By giving Farraday his journal, Hawking gives herself a means by which to both control her amnesiac son's actions and a means by which to communicate her future knowledge to her past self.

what? what??? Daniel is dead???

freaking severe weather all night so the show was constantly interrupted. Clearly I missed something of some significance.

Oh, dear! Undaunted, can you get to ABC's website ? You can watch full episodes there, no fee.

Thank you! I'll give it a try.

Two weeks ago I got promoted to manager of the department I work in, taking over from someone who literally never did anything. It's a mess! I'm working 7 days a week, 11-12 hours a day mopping up the mess...so I'll try to get to ABC's website before Wednesday nite!

I feel where you're coming from. Medical school is a jealous bitch that demands most of my time.

Yeah, work and school demands are terrible. The Park Service is sending me to the Grand Canyon for two weeks for training, leaving Monday morning. Now television and no access to computers except on the Park Service network.

Unbearable!

Well Carl, not everyone is fortunate enough to work in a noisy, smoke filled environment...you just have to man up and deal with the Grand Canyon and all of it's outdoorsy-ness and fresh air.

sigh

You guys always confuse me. What's "fresh air?" Is that a new term for wireless? Does it have something to do with cloud computing?

ok. so Widmore says he is the one who sunk that plane in the Sundra Trench. Maybe he is and maybe he isn't. I still think that freaking plane in the wrong place is the elephant in the room. There has to be a reason we haven't heard anyone questioning where it was found.

Not a word about it being so far off course. Not by Daniel when Widmore told him he planted it. Not by the press. Not by Lapidus who was scheduled to fly Flight 815. Not by the 06ers when they were discussing the pros and cons of lying about the circumstances of their rescue. Why not? And it is totally inexplicable that the 06 didn't wonder about the veracity of their story considering, you know...the plane was 4000 miles in the opposite direction.

There's a perfectly good deepsea trench in the Pacific Ocean that could have been used to drop the wreckage into....yeah, it's also off course, but at least it's in the same ocean and north of Fiji.

Then on The Variable, TPTB make a point of mentioning the Sundra Trench wreckage yet again, and yet again fail to show anyone's concern about that freaking plane being 4000 miles off course in the opposite direction, in the wrong bloody ocean.

It's significant.
